100 kilometer walk
sorry for the length of my time since the last post.
i ended the year on an epic walk ( for me at least). I left home at 5:56 am on dec 31st, followed the yada river to the shonai river, looped around to mie prefecture, down to the port, zig zagged through the streets of nagoya visiting various shrines and temples to observe the new year celebrations, had supper at shooters, headed east down hiro koji dori, with a few detours, and arrive home just after 11 pm in time to see the new year in with my family.
i did on whim, deciding 3 days before to double my distance of previous walks. The last 20 k was a killer. felt like the flu was setting in. for two days following felt sick but all is well now

Indie is doing her first adventure with purpose this month, a preschool dance-a-thon for a local charity. She'll be hopping and bopping for two hours. It may not seem like much, but for a three year old to do anything for two hours is a true adventure!

Watch subject. Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren't a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer?
